Rolling Out in Redding

After nearly a quarter of a century, KRCR (Redding) Chief Meteorologist Mike Krueger signed off from the station on Friday.

"I knew I was going to get emotional. I just want to thank all of you," Krueger said as he held back tears. "I think of my family, my son Aiden here. I think of the times I had to stay at work; I remember reading him stories through Facetime."

The station wrote on its website, “While on the air, KRCR News Director Kerry Loring and team delivered a cake, balloons and Krueger's favorite treats…”

Looking at the photo, apparently, the News Director dressed as a bald eagle.
