Resurfaced in Charlotte

Back on Oct. 4th, FTVLive told you that KCPQ (Seattle) Chief Meteorologist Lisa Villegas had worked her last day at the Fox O&O.

She posted on social media that she was headed back East to be closer to family.

WBTV in Charlotte has announced that they have now hired Villegas, and she will do weeknights on WBTV News at 5,6, and 11 PM.

"Lisa is a perfect fit. She comes to us as a former Chief Meteorologist with great experience forecasting from coast to coast - she knows weather," said WBTV First Alert Chief Meteorologist Al Conklin

"I'm passionate about what I do and take the responsibility of alerting our viewers first for changing conditions and severe weather seriously," said Lisa Villegas.

She starts her new gig on Monday.
