The Nexstar Job You Have Been Waiting For

Thanks to a law in New York, companies are required to list what the job pays in the job posting.

But, ever since FTVLive started pointing out just how low Nexstar wants to pay their employees, we noticed that the company is violating the law.

Check out this Producer job in Elmira, NY and notice that it does not have the salary range posted.

This job was posted just 3 days ago. The last time the station posted a Producer job it paid just $15 bucks and hour, or less than you would make at McDonald’s.

Here is an MMJ job at Nexstar’s Utica station, it also does not state what the job pays.

Why is Nexstar violating the law when it comes to this information?

Now, check this out…

This is a Photographer job at Nexstar’s WIVB in Buffalo. They did post salary information, and the pay starts at $15.75 and hour.

But, why take a job as a Shooter where you must lug around gear in Buffalo weather, when for $5 to $7 dollars MORE an hour, you can just answer the phone as a Receptionist.
