Let's Joke About People Losing Their Livelihood

The netting on a shrimp boat docked in Port Arthur, TX caught fire and for some reason, Sinclair’s KFDM (Beaumont) thought that was funny.

So they joked about it on social media.

The fact that the people that worked on that boat saw their livelihood affected, didn’t seem to phase the station. But, some viewers rightfully thought the post was insensitive.

Let’s hope that KFDM, or Sinclair issue an apology.
