According to Nexstar’s WFLA (Tampa) website, Annie Mapp is a Bilingual Reporter from Mississippi who joined the 8 On Your Side team in March 2022.

Her Instagram page is branded with WFLA in the bio.

But, if you are looking for news content on her IG, you might be hard pressed to find any.

I would love to ask Nexstar CEO Perry Sook if he thinks these kinds of posts make Nexstar look good?

I would also like to ask WFLA News Director Dave Ciliberti if he believes that this helps the Tampa station’s credibility.

Just remember, only 11% of people trust local TV news. That figure has never been lower than it Is today.

So, if you guys think this crap is working, you might want to look again.
