New CNN boss Chris Licht continues to clean up the mess left by Jeff Zucker at the cable network.

Licht has handed media critic Brian Stelter his hat, along with White House Correspondent John Harwood. Jeff Toobin was also bounced from CNN by Licht.

Now, Licht is adding to his on-air roster.

He announced that he has hired John Miller, who will be joining the network as Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst.

Miller most recently served as the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence & Counterterrorism.

Before moving to the NYPD, Miller worked at both CBS and ABC News.

“I’ve worked closely with Chris Licht and share his editorial vision: speed, but not at the expense of accuracy, passion but not at the expense of objectivity,” Miller said in a statement.

Licht has also poached Dr. Tara Narula from CBS News. She will be a medical correspondent at CNN.

Word is that the ice under CNN’s Jim Acosta is getting very thin and some belive he won’t make it through the month of September.
