Insiders at The Firm’s WOFL (Orlando) say that the station has posted a job opening for a Senior Producer position. Insiders say that whomever they hire, it will be the 4th person to hold the position since last September.

The job is branded as a manager but sources say that the station is often short-handed and the Senior Producer is often tasked with line producing as well.

Word is that the last two people to hold the job quit.

Insiders tell FTVLive, “News director Melissa Madalie is known to promise things on the interview but omit it from the contract so when you complain she just says it’s not in your contract”.

Good advice for anybody working there or thinking about it is to make sure any promises are put down in writing.

Then again, that is good advice no matter where you work.
