Reporter Called Out for Racist Question

Dave Detling's LinkedIn still has him working as a Reporter for WMAR in Baltimore. His bio is still listed on the WMAR website.

It appears that Detling was called out for asking what some believed was a racist question to Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott.

Nicki Mayo posted about the exchange on her Twitter.

The Baltimore Association of Black Journalists also issued a statement.

It appears that this exchange has now made Detling a former Reporter at WMAR.

Someone might want to alert the digital team as his bio is still listed on the Scripps station’s website.
