Fired Atlanta Anchor Producing Russian Propaganda

Do you remember Atlanta Anchor Ben Swann?

Swann worked at WGCL in Atlanta and was promoting conspiracy stories on the station’s newscast, Including one about “Pizzagate.”

Unbelievably, that story only got Swann suspended and not fired.

Swann then asked viewers to give him $50,000 so he could produce a story that showed how the US government intentionally created ISIS.

He was finally fired from the station and at the time FTVLive wrote, “He better hope that his tinfoil network pans out because the thought of him getting hired at another TV station seems like a longshot.”

well, it appears that Swann has landed another job, but it is not exactly in TV news.

Axios reports that Swann is producing four news-style TV shows for state-backed Russian media organ TV Novosti and two other entities, the Russian firm Kart LLC and an Armenian company called Stark Industries LLC.

Themes of the shows will include "the United States and NATO continuing to spread war around the world," "the economic warfare waged by the United States and its allies," and "transgender issues in the United States," according to foreign agent filings.

Axios says that Swann's production company will receive more than $5 million to produce the four shows, each of which will consist of 50 episodes, according to a contract filed with the Department of Justice.

I guess it proves that peddling propaganda pays better than anchoring the news in Atlanta.

Although, I think I would rather make less money, but sleep better at night knowing that I am not selling out my country.

Bet hey, that’s just me.

Swann did not respond to inquiries to his new job working for the Kremlin.
