DC Met Calls His Family Live On the Air

This morning, FTVLive told you how WTTG appeared to drop the ball as some nasty weather blew through the viewing area.

But, over on WRC, Met Doug Kammerer was on the air warning viewers and he also knew that his kids were home alone and because they are kids, they were not watching TV.

Kammerer took the time to quickly call his kids and make sure they took safety precautions.

While he was warning viewers, which was very important to him, he just had to warn the most important people to him.

That’s pretty cool.
