Ummmmm? A couple of Things Here....

Despite the fact that the Super Bowl is over and has been for a few days now, viewers watching WANE’s (Ft. Wayne) newscasts, might have noticed that the station is still running the Super Bowl bug with their logo at the bottom of the screen.

The bug starts with the station’s logo and then rotates to the Super Bowl bug.

Here’s a couple of screenshots from last night’s newscast:

Okay….here is at least two problems we see with this.

First and the most obvious is that the game was played last Sunday and it is now Thursday, so maybe it is time to dump the logo.

Second, the logo you are using isn’t even the correct one.

Super Bowl LV was played back in Feb of 2021.

This year’s Super Bowl was LVI and the logo was even in the middle of the field where the game was played.

So, either WANE used the wrong logo in their bug to promote the big game, or they have been running the Super Bowl bug for over a year now.
