KARE (Minneapolis) Sports Anchor Dave Schwartz is leaving the Tegna station and TV news altogether to hit the ice.

Schwartz is leaving to join the NHL’s Minnesota Wild as the team’s senior manager for internal communications and engagement.

In normal language, he be the team’s PR guy.

Schwartz is a die-hard hockey fan, so this is akin to the mothership calling him home.
