Syracuse News Photographer Dies

WSYR announced the sad news that longtime photojournalist Ed Jones passed away over the weekend.

Jones had been in a long battle with cancer and died on Sunday. He had been with the station for over 4 decades.

The Nexstar station ran a very nice tribute to Jones, sadly, they felt the need to tack an ad on the front of the video. Do you really need to make just a few more dollars by monetizing a story about the death of your longtime employee?
