The Producer Shortage in Houston

Word is that Graham’s KPRC is so short of Producers that the weekend Producer was asked to work a 12 hour day.

A source tells FTVLive that the Producer went and begged the News Director to cancel a digital newscast, in order for the Producer to get a break.

Word is that the News Director did end up canceling the newscast.

“We are now down 3 producers and 2 EPs. every producer is doing doubles, and everyone wants to quit,” said one station staffer to FTVLive.
