Anchor is Hired as a Waitress
/KGUN (Tucson) Anchor Heidi Alagha does one of those segments where the TV people go out and try and do the jobs of “normal” people and find out how hard it is.
Alagha tried working as a waitress in a restaurant and found out that serving 3 tables is not easy.
On the station’s website, KGUN writes:
“Heidi was given a total of three tables to wait on. She got the drink and food orders for two tables until she finally realized she had forgotten on table 3. That’s when she quickly checked on the table with one woman. The woman informed Heidi she didn’t even have a menu.”
The report went on to say:
“Chips and salsa aren't the only things that should come out early
Heidi tried to play catch up on that table while serving the other two tables she started on. It was a lot to juggle.
Heidi was eventually hired by the owner of the restaurant.”
Wait, so is the local TV Anchor also working as a server, or is this all part of the bit?
I guess with what TV news pays, it isn’t that far-fetched that the Anchor will also wait on tables.
