Might Want to Update That...

Looking at the “about us” page of WLS the ABC O&O in Chicago, and you might think they are in need of an update.

Here is a screenshot I took of the page this morning:

Let’s take a closer look at that photo for the link to the “Meet the Team” page.

Let’s go from Left to right on the people in the photo:

First up is Mark Giangreco who was fired from the station earlier this year.

Then you have Cheryl Burton, who is the only person in this picture that is still with WLS.

Next to her in Ron Magers who retired from the station 5 years ago.

Next to him is Kathy Brock, who retired back in 2018.

Next to Brock is Jerry Taft that retired from the station and passed away in 2020.

You might expect the No. 1 station in the No. 3 market to be a bit better when it comes to keeping their website up to date.
