Holt Lands Capitol Cop

NBC announced that Nightly News Anchor Lester Holt has scored a sit-down interview with the US Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt during the January 6 insurrection.

NBC says that this will be the first time the officer has spoken out and revealed his identity.

The officer had been exonerated for using force against Babbitt.

The interview is slated to air tonight.
