Back in December, FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Motown’s WXYZ had parted was with its News Director Rhonda LaVelle.

9 months later, LaVelle is resurfacing, but it is a huge drop in market size, but a bump up in job title.

Hubbard’s KAAL in Rochester, Minn. announced that LaVelle will be the station’s new General Manager.

“We are excited to have Rhonda LaVelle join our team with her knowledge of the broadcast industry and commitment to serving our viewers.” said Hubbard President Rob Hubbard.

LaVelle replaces David Harbert, who has retired from the station.
