Cuts at Nexstar

The job of a Master Control Operator is like that of the Florida panther.

The MCO is an endangered species, as more stations and groups turn to hubbing of Master Control.

Word is the MCO’s at Nexstar’s KOLR in Springfield Mo were told they are being cut as the station moves master to a Nexstar hub.

Some of the staff told have been at the station for over two decades and now need to try and find another job.
