Now It’s Official

Back in July, FTVLive told you that MSNBC Anchor Kassie Hunt signed off from the network after implying that NBC was not compensating her correctly.

When Hunt signed off, she did not say where she was headed.

On July 17th, FTVLive wrote, “Hunt did not say where she was headed in the sign-off, but we know that she is going to CNN, where apparently, they know her value.”

Yesterday, CNN head Jeff Zucker announced to the staff that had a new hire at the network.

It was Kassie Hunt.

CNN says that Hunt will cover national and breaking news stories for the network. Sources tell FTVLive that Hunt is part of bigger plans at CNN and will be doing more than reporting.
