Staying Sober in B-More
/Longtime WJZ (Baltimore) Meteorologist Meg McNamara took to social media that she is celebrating 12 years being sober.
She writes in her post, “I love being sober. I didn’t always. It wasn’t like I got sober and suddenly my life was amazing. I stopped drinking and started feeling every emotion. I didn’t have alcohol to take the edge off and it was painful.”
While it’s great that she is staying sober, I’m not sure why she needed to post a picture of herself in a nightie kneeling on her bed with a wine glass and a bottle?
It seems to be sending a mix message.
But hey, maybe that’s just me.
