Boston ND is Bumped Up the Food Chain

WCVB (Boston) News Director Paige Harrison is leaving the station, but not the Hearst food chain.

Starting next month, Harrison will be moving to New York City and become Hearst’s VP of News for the company.

She will report to Hearst’s Senior VP of News, Barbara Maushard.

“Paige’s breadth and depth of experience is universally recognized by her colleagues and industry peers,” Maushard added. “Her keen eye for news and the evolution of news consumption positions her perfectly to help move Hearst Television news operations forward in serving audiences with relevant, factual content wherever they seek it.”

Harrison replaces Andrew Vrees, who was named GM at WMUR.
