Last week, in a Patron Only story, FTVLive wrote about the open News Director job at Tegna’s KING in Seattle. In that story, FTVLive wrote, “don't be surprised if that person is WHAS News Director (Louisville) Julie Wolfe.”

We told you that “sources at WHAS say that Wolfe disappeared for two days leading up to Kentucky Derby weekend and no one knew a thing?”

We also told you that Wolfe was spotted in Seattle, pitching for the KING job.

Well, guess what?

WHAS General Manager Christy Moreno sent this internal email to the staff yesterday, it was obtained by FTVLive:

In the press release sent out by Tegna, Wolfe says, ““KING 5’s legacy of serving the Seattle community and the station’s ‘Stand For Truth’ brand align so closely with my values. I cannot imagine a better fit for me personally, and everything I envision for the future of journalism.” “I’ve been so fortunate to be surrounded by amazing journalists my entire career and am excited to take all of what I’ve learned with me in this move to KING 5.”

We hate to say we told you so……..ha!…..who are we kidding, we love saying that.
