Signing Off in Denver

sources tell FTVLive that KDVR/KWGN News Director Brian Gregory announced in both the morning and afternoon editorial meetings that popular Meteorologist Matt Makens is leaving the Nexstar station.

Makens has been at the station for the past 6 years after crossing the street from KMGH.

No word on where he is headed next.

Gregory told the staff in the meeting and said that he is hesitant to send out an email, because as he says, “they might end up on some guy’s blog.”

Hmmmmmm? I wonder who he’s talking about?
