Memo Has Sinclair Employees Scratching Their Heads

A number of Sinclair employees pass along an internal memo that they were sent from Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley and Sinclair’s Chief Compliance Officer Jeff Lewis.

First, here’s the internal memo:

This is the same company that the FCC basically called out for lying when they were trying to buy the Tribune stations.

“Think they forgot about that issue with the FCC and the Tribune deal?” said one Sinclair employee.

“WTF is this supposed to mean?” said another Sinclair staffer to FTVLive about the memo.

The last line of the memo does reek of irony, that’s for sure.
