Headed to Austin

Last week, FTVLive told you that popular Denver morning Anchor Britt Moreno posted that she is leaving CBS O&O KCNC.

She said she was headed to Texas to be closer to family.

She didn’t say what her next job would be?

We now hear that she is headed to Nexstar’s KXAN in Austin.

By Nexstar hiring her in Texas, it means she will no longer be competing with KDVR/KWGN the Nexstar stations in Denver.

So, while Moreno gets to be closer to family, Nexstar takes away a popular Anchor at the competition.

That’s how the business works.
