Yesterday, in a Patron Only story, FTVLive told you how KOKI (Tulsa) Managing Editor Rudy Murrieta tried to turn the verdict in the Derek Chauvin case into a game for the news employees.

He was called out for the insensitive nature of turning the trail of the man that killed George Floyd into a game.

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, Murrieta sent an email to the staff that he was going to be gone from the newsroom for a few days.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence….right?
