News Director Bounced in the Quad Cities

A number of sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar’s WHBF has parted ways with News Director Mike Mickle.

The sources claim that he was let go after a number of allegations from employees. While FTVLive has not verified those claims, ESPN Quad Cites radio, does address them in this posted story. The article does not name Mickle.

Mickle’s Twitter bio still lists him as the station’s News Director, but sources tell FTVLive that is no longer the case.

Nexstar has not publicly addressed the status of Mickle or the disturbing allegations leveled against him.
