Wear the Mask
/Former WCPO (Cincy) Anchor Michael Flannery is in the hospital battling COVID and he has some advice for people.
In a Facebook video posted on Feb. 20, Flannery, with a breathing tube in his nose, said he is doing well. Flannery says that his wife and daughter got COVID-19 two weeks ago and he was caring for them when he contracted the virus.
"All I wanted to do was say, to all my friends, please wear a mask. Wash your hands and keep your distance. This isn't fun. You don't want this. I don't want you to have this. It's hard to breathe. It hurts to breathe," Flannery said in the Facebook video.
"Wearing a mask isn't a political thing. It's a you love your family and friends thing," he said.
