DC Anchor Under Fire For Tweet

Insiders at WTTG in DC tell FTVLive that during the pandemic, Anchor Blake McCoy traveled to Hawaii, Texas, attended a Halloween party, and invited a Tinder date over to his house.

Not exactly A+ behavior during a global pandemic.

Yesterday, McCoy took to social media to voice his displeasure because fat people were jumping to the front of the line to get their COVID vaccines.

Needless to say that tweet went over about as well as a fat guy in a pole vaulting contest. McCoy then deleted his tweet and posted this “apology.”

But was it a “sincere apology”?

When replying to a commenter, McCoy said, “I deleted because, frankly, who has time to argue with strangers on the internet.”

Hmmmmmm? Doesn’t seem to make the apology very “sincere” if you ask us.
