CBS has finally gotten around to naming a new General Manager at WFOR in Miami.

CBS O&O President Peter Dunn pushed out WFOR GM Adam Levy back in November.

Then Dunn was placed on administrative leave and that put off the company naming a new GM at the Miami O&O.

CBS finally got around to filling the job and named Darryll Green as the station’s new GM starting in early March.

Green moves across Alligator Alley from Scripps owned WFTX in Ft. Myers. Green worked also worked at WGRZ in Buffalo and at WUSA in DC. He worked in Miami heading up a a radio group in Miami.

The fact that CBS moved a person of color into the GM chair in Miami shows that the company is moving in the right direction, but they still have a long way to go.
