He's The News Director.....Right?

Scripps-owned WCPO in Cincy announced that they have hired Barry Fulmer to lead its newsroom as Senior Director of Local Media Content.

With all the new fancy titles that are being batted around TV news nowadays, I’m guessing that Senior Director of Local Media Content is just a fancy way of saying News Director.

Also, does the station have a Junior Director of Local Media Content?

I guess everyone just wants a fancy title now.

From this point on, I will be the Senior Leader of National Content and Pet Feeding at FTVLive LLC.

I hope the gig comes with a big salary.

Anyway, Fulmer starts as the station’s new News Director ummmmmm Senior Director of Local Media Content later next month.
