Sinclair sent out a press release that had many of their employees either laughing or scratching their heads.

FTVLive was sent a link by a number of Sinclair employees that were a bit surprised by the release.

“Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. today announced that it was named one of The Baltimore Sun’s 2021 Top Workplaces. The eleventh annual awards recognize the most dynamic and supportive local companies, based solely on independent employee surveys,” the press released started out.

It went to say, “Sinclair Broadcast Group was honored as a Top Workplaces award winner in the large employers category for companies with 400+ employees in the Baltimore region. Additionally, Sinclair Broadcast Group was recognized as a 2021 Top Workplace for Managers as a place where employees can learn, grow, and be supported and mentored by their managers at various levels throughout the company.”

Then again the fact that Sinclair was named a “ Top Workplace for Managers” is really not a shock to us.

The company is packed with managers, which many employees say “do nothing” and “always pass the blame.”

Sounds like the perfect place to work for a manager that just wants to skate by.
