When Fox News host Tucker Carlson conducted his interview with Kyle Rittenhouse, nearly 5 million viewers tuned in.
News Nation’s Ashleigh Banfield picked up the sloppy seconds and conducted an interview a day later with Rittenhouse and she drew about 4.9 million viewers less that Carlson.
Her interview with Kyle Rittenhouse pulled just 58,000 total viewers and just 17,000 in the demos.
While this is a big bump for Banfield, it was still a very low number.
Sources at News Nation tell FTVLive that the suits were really thinking that the sit-down with Rittenhouse was going to easily top 100,000 total viewers.
It barely made it half way.
