A couple of days ago, FTVLive told you that WFXT (Boston) Morning Reporter Michael Henrich was leaving the station and in that story, we posted a quote from a station insider, who said, ““This wasn’t his choice as much as this email makes it seem like it was.”

Henrich confirmed as much when he sent out a goodbye note to his co-workers.

“Not being renewed after giving my all for so long is, frankly, heartbreaking for a variety of reasons,” he said in the memo obtained by FTVLive.

Sadly, he’s not the first, or the last person working in TV news that will feel that heartbreak.
