Crossing the Street in Salt Lake City

Kristen Van Dyke, former Chief Meteorologist at SLC’s KSTU has resurfaced across the street at KSL doing weekend weather.

Van Dyke left the Scripps station a few months ago after 3 years.

She now lands at KSL and thanks to a law passed by the Utah legislator, she did not have to wait sitting out a non-compete.

Since the law went into effect, a number of talent have jumped across the street to competing stations, with most leaving Sinclair’s KUTV to go elsewhere.

Van Dyke makes the move from KSTU to KSL, but I think someone needs to pass that information onto the web people at KSTU, where Van Dyke’s bio page is still on their site.
