When WTAE )Pittsburgh) parted ways with Anchor Wendy Bell for making racist comments on her Facebook page, the Hearst station dealt with a lot of backlash.
Many slammed the station for firing her and many others slammed the station for employing her in the first place.
It was a rough time for WTAE as they made their way through the whole Wendy Bell period.
But now, CBS’s KDKA is dealing with pissed off viewers outraged at what Wendy Bell keeps saying.
Sadly for KDKA, they are an innocent bystander in all this.
You see, KDKA Radio thought that it was a good idea to hire Bell and put her and her awful takes on the radio.
Many viewers have been blasting KDKA-TV for some of the shit that comes out of Wendy Bell’s mouth.
It has gotten so bad that KDKA felt the need to post this tweet and follow up on their website:
The station posted on their website that, “Bell works for KDKA Radio, which is owned by Entercom Communications radio group.”
In other words, KDKA-TV is being blamed for something they have no control over.
In the meantime, Wendy Bell has a job and that in itself is mind-blowing to say the least.
