According to a Google search, WKYC’s (Cleveland) midday newscast is called Lunch Break with Jay Crawford and it airs Monday through Friday at 12 p.m.

But on Friday, the WKYC schedule showed that the noon news (i.e. Lunch Break) was not airing and instead was replaced by an infomercial for a product that helps get rid of under-eye bags. Sure enough, Noon rolled around and that’s what viewers saw on their TV.

So let’s get this straight, we are in the midst of a global pandemic, and many cities, including Cleveland, are being rocked by civil unrest. Yet, the Tegna station is airing an infomercial on how to rid yourself of under-eye bags.
