A Legacy Station?

If you read FTVLive then you know about many of the problems and antics that have gone on at KDVR/KWGN in Denver.

The station had a number of missteps when it was owned by Tribune and has since been bought out by Nexstar.

General Manager Joan Barrett has left the station to work for Tegna and it seems that Nexstar also looking for a new Creative Services Director for the Denver stations as well.

But, the job ad that is posted for the job plays a bit loose with the facts.

The posting calls the station a “market leader” and a “legacy.”

Neither of these is true. As one KDVR insider said to FTVLive, the last CSD is gone for, ”not creating a legacy station.”

Just because you say it, doesn’t make it true.
