CBS Phones It in On the West Coast (Updated)

A CBS viewer on the West Coast tells FTVLive that the CBS Evening News was not updated for the West Coast feed.

The Newscast was not updated with story of law enforcement clearing protesters for Trump’s stroll across Lafayette Park for the photo op says the viewer to FTVLive. “Ever since the current regime took over the evening news, we rarely get an updated version as they’ve done in past regimes. CBS is outta touch by 3 hours out West where I live, what a joke!” the viewer says in an email.

When you look at how CBS is cutting laying off news staff at the network and the O&O’s, is farming out their Weekend Evening Newscast to affiliates, it’s almost like they have basically given up on being a news organization.

CBS Evening News has been marred in last place for decades. Many of their O&O’s sit at the bottom of the ratings in their markets, maybe CBS has just thrown in the towel.

Update: CBS tells FTVLive that there was an updated West Coast Feed. It appears that the local West coast station that aired the CBS Evening News, used the East coast feed instead.
