KYW (Philly) Anchor/Reporter Trang Do remembers what it was like working in that first job in broadcasting. The pay is low, often very low.
I can remember when I started out in TV news and at the end of the month, you were doing everything you could to pay your bills. The people at the local pawn shop knew me on a first name basis.
Trang Do posted this to he social media to try and help out young Journalists that are just getting started:
Trang said that she was thankful for her sister’s hand me downs when she first started working in TV news and now she is paying it forward.
Let’s hope that other seasoned TV vets will follow her lead and help out the kids that are coming up in this business.
