Yesterday, FTVLive told you that popular KCBS/KCAL Chopper Photographer/Reporter Stu Mundel has left the station.

It was a big loss as Mundel has a large following in the LA area.

This was the internal email that KCBS?KCAL News Director Tara Finestone sent to the staff:

Stu Mundel has decided to resign from KCBS/KCAL. We thank Stu for his many years of reporting I Sky2/9. And we wish him well in his next adventure.

So, what is his next adventure?

So far nobody is saying publicly, but sources tell FTVLive that Mundel will be resurfacing across the street at The Firm’s KTTV. We hear that he will be in the skies for the station’s Good Day LA newscast from 4-10AM.
