The future of the newspaper industry is bleek and with the COVID-19 pandemic and the loss of revenue, it is even more so.
One longtime newspaper Reporter is not sticking around till the end.
This week, former Philadelphia Inquirer Investigative Reporter Claudia Vargas started a new job In TV news.
Vargas is now working for NBC’s WCAU and Telemundo62/WWSI in Philly.
She started the new gig on Monday.
“In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, we continue to focus on integrity and journalism,” said Anzio Williams, Vice President of News for NBC10 and Telemundo62. “Seeking justice, uncovering the truth and asking the tough questions serves our audience and strengthens our community. Claudia will be a great addition to our NBC10 Investigators team.”
