WGRZ (Buffalo) weather anchor Maria Genero has been missing from the air and some viewers are wondering what is going on?

No, she has not been furloughed by the Tegna station, not yet anyway, she says that she’s sick.

Genero said she is battling pneumonia.

“I’m doing better,” she said.

She added that she hopes to be back on the air “as soon as I can.”

She declined further comment.
