Shon Gables Anchors the news at Meredith’s WGCL in Atlanta, Georgia.

The newsroom had a competition where some of the staff were handed a blank map of the United States and asked to fill it in as quickly as they could.

Gables did not know where the state of Georgia was. Yep, the same state she works in and not only did she get it wrong, she got it wrong a number of times.

“I know it’s in this area,” Gables said as she pointed towards the map.

And this my friends is the state of TV news in 2020.

We’ll be fine….. right?

Here’s the video until the Meredith bosses see it and asked for it to be pulled because, well, it’s a bit embarrassing to say the least.
