Let's Have the Comic Do It...

Yesterday, Tegna’s WUSA (DC) was doing an interview with CBS Chief Washington Correspondent Major Garrett on the station’s morning show about the Democratic Debate on CBS.

The debate was the last before Super Tuesday and there was a lot about the future of our country on the line.

Instead of having real Journalist Annie Yu conduct the interview, or longtime DC Anchor Tony Perkins do it, the Tegna station decided to have their in house comedian, Reese Waters interview the CBS News Journalist.

Why?

Who at the station thought this was the way to go?

Then again, this 2020 election has become so much of a joke, maybe WUSA is onto something.
