Leaving Sin City for the Ham

Back in 2016, Carla Wade left WFAA in Dallas and resurfaced at KTNV in Las Vegas.

Now, Wade has left Las Vegas and is resurfacing at WVTM in Birmingham.

The Hearst station announced that Wade is replacing Eunice Elliott on the morning newscast. Elliott “has decided to step away from her current role at WVTM 13 to pursue other business and creative ventures.”

Elliott had been a part of WVTM 13 News Mornings for over six years.

As for Wade, she is still listed on the KTNV website in Las Vegas.

At least she is until the Scripps bosses log onto FTVLive this morning. Then her bio will quietly be taken down and no one from Scripps will email us to say thanks.
