Koco Heads to La La Land

WDIV (Detroit) Reporter Koco McAboy is leaving Motown for the bright lights of Hollywood.
“LIFE ANNOUNCEMENT: I’m trading in my beloved coats for an exciting change of scenery and SUNSHINE!," posted McAboy. "When I lived in California for a summer in college to intern at a news station, I told myself I would live there again someday, and now my dream is coming true…”
She will be working at The Firm’s KTTV in LA.
"I'm really excited because when I was in college, I lived for a summer in the L.A. area, because I have family there, and I did an internship at one of the stations in L.A."
McAboy will be relocating with her husband TV news photographer Joe Prince, who's worked at Local 4 and Fox 2 Detroit. The couple, who met in Grand Rapids at WOOD, were married in September.
Koco McAboy has to be the best TV name since Homa Bash.
