Cleveland News Director Bumped Up the Corporate Ladder

For the second time in less than two years, WEWS (Cleveland) is looking for a new News Director.

Current ND Sean McGarvy is leaving the station to become Director of Content Strategy for Scripps. Scripps owns WEWS.

McGarvy came to the station in August of 2018 from KMGH in Denver. He replaced Jeff Harris, who left the ND job to become the News Director at the CBS-owned and -operated WBBM in Chicago.

The search goes on for the next ND at WEWS.
