Adding News in Duluth

Quincey’s KBJR in Duluth is going to add a 5PM newscast just about the time that campaign spending really starts to heat up.

Coincidence?

The station announced that starting March 23rd, CBS 3 News “Live at 5” will hit the air.

“We’ve hit the marks according to what we wanted to do,” said David Jensch, station vice president and station manager.

What the hell does that even mean?

Anyway, the station will use the same anchor team that does the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts to do the 5PM as well.

In other words, more news with the same people and that my friends is a big cost saving move.
